Working in the same job for 50 years seems to be on its way out - More and more people are embracing a more fluid and agile approach to work and careers. This might look different for everyone. It could be that you change industries a number of times throughout your working life. You could split your time between a side hustle and a part time job. Or you could start working on a freelance project by project basis.
In a changing economy, we need to be able to adjust ourselves. Upskilling is basically work-speak for learning something different - shaking up your routine, and expanding your horizons.
This whole pandemic thing is shaking everyone up in one way or another, and is making us rethink many different aspects of life, and one of the biggest ones is career. Take some time over the weekend to reflect on your working life to date.
