The job market can be tough to get into, especially for young people leaving education for the first time. It has been noted by employers, teachers, and school leavers alike, that there is a deficit in the skills people have, compared to the skills they need to succeed at work.
We are working with young people in schools and sixth form colleges across Manchester and the North West, partnering with decision makers and leaders in education, providing them with programmes to supplement their curriculums in a way that will give people access to a new way of thinking about and approaching the workforce.
We give people ways and means to put their skills into practice in real working environments. Part of this looks like finding work experience placements for people alongside a flexible and bespoke mentoring programme.
We believe that our young people have awesome potential that can be tapped into and drawn out of them as they are now, and that they have great stuff to offer the world.
