The word “jobseeker” is an umbrella term that covers people from a variety of backgrounds, in a variety of circumstances. If you are a job seeker, you’ve probably been made redundant from your last job, and are looking for a new opportunity. You could be just starting out after finishing high school or college.
Or, like me, you could be a brand new graduate, with a shiny new degree, looking for a way to kick-start your career in the field of your choice.
When used to tell people I’m job-seeking, they often respond sympathetically. And I get it. It can be an uncertain time, and it can very often be hard to know where to start…
